Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) to ensure timely vendor and client billing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance on a monthly basis.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to manage financial records and generate reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Prepare and review financial statements and budget variance reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
- Support the month-end close process and assist with annual audit preparations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial data with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid office environment.
