Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including accurate management of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Process payroll and ensure timely filing of payroll tax forms (1099s/W-2s).
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and audit preparation.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage petty cash.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of organizational accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with payroll processing and basic tax preparation is a plus.
