Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Sage software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Support annual audits and ensure adherence to UK GAAP standards
- Manage client communications regarding financial inquiries and reports
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (minimum 3 years)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and tax regulations
- AAT Level 3/4 qualification or equivalent accounting certification
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
