Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist external auditors during year-end audits and tax filings to ensure compliance.
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to management on financial performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and tax filings.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CPA eligibility is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
