Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns; ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing required documentation and supporting schedules.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are accurate and paid on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
