Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping: Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy.
- Process Payroll: Manage weekly or bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring tax filings and compliance are met.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Vendor and Client Communication: Liaise with clients and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Software Management: Maintain and update accounting records using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and reporting is generated on time.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in a professional setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
