Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Develop and expand a book of business through networking, cold calling, and community engagement events.
- Financial Planning: Conduct in-depth needs analysis and create comprehensive financial plans including retirement, estate, and tax strategies.
- Investment Management: Manage client portfolios by selecting appropriate investment vehicles and monitoring market performance.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure strict adherence to FINRA, SEC, and internal compliance regulations at all times.
- Education: Host workshops and seminars to educate clients on financial products and market trends.
- Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact with clients to review goals and adjust strategies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to provide a holistic financial solution for every client.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Licenses: Series 7, Series 66 (or 63), and Life Insurance licenses required (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial services, sales, or client-facing roles (Entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds considered).
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and market data.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a talent for simplifying complex topics.
