Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, check cashing, and account deposits.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet and exceed their banking needs.
- Open new accounts and cross-sell bank products such as CDs, loans, and credit cards to existing clients.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure branch environment while adhering to strict regulatory compliance standards.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally, escalating complex matters to branch management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience in the banking or retail sector is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and banking software.
- Must pass a background check and obtain a Notary Public commission (training provided).
