Responsibilities
- Transactions: Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Cash Handling: Cash checks and handle currency and coin with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and resolve issues promptly.
- Security: Adhere to all bank security protocols and compliance regulations to prevent fraud and theft.
- Product Sales: Cross-sell financial products such as savings accounts and CDs to meet branch goals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous banking or cash-handling experience is preferred but not strictly required; we provide training.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
