Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions with 100% accuracy, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide world-class customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Open new checking and savings accounts and cross-sell bank products (credit cards, loans, safe deposit boxes).
- Verify the identity of customers and comply with all Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
- Balance cash drawers daily and report any discrepancies immediately to the branch manager.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle large sums of money with extreme accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
