Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming environment, answer account inquiries, and resolve complaints with professionalism.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers and daily reconciliation reports (telling ledger) to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Sales & Service: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Onboarding: Assist in opening new accounts, collecting necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Security: Adhere to all bank security protocols and report suspicious activities immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Bank Teller, Cashier, or in customer service is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- Background: Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
