Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Update and maintain the general ledger using accounting software.
- Organize and file financial documents and invoices.
- Assist in internal audits and compliance tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in an entry-level accounting or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
