Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare bank statements with internal records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Data Entry: Perform high-velocity data entry into accounting software with a focus on speed and error reduction.
- Invoicing Support: Process invoices, prepare bills, and manage payment schedules for clients and vendors.
- Report Preparation: Help prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Client Communication: Handle incoming inquiries regarding account status and resolve basic account-related issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We value potential and work ethic over history.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar software is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
