Responsibilities
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare monthly bank statements with company records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Invoice Processing: Generate, send, and track invoices for clients, ensuring all billing is processed correctly.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and monthly summaries for senior management.
- Administrative Support: Organize and file financial documents, receipts, and invoices for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: None required. We are looking for candidates eager to learn.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in data entry and financial documents.
