Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Data Entry: Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ledgers, and monthly summaries for management review.
- Document Management: Organize, file, and manage both physical and digital financial documents and receipts.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll process by verifying time sheets and processing data entry for employee compensation.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data; basic math proficiency.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members.
- Experience: No prior bookkeeping experience required; we provide full training.
