As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that our clients' financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accurate data entry and bank reconciliation.
- Maintain and update general ledgers and financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and generate basic financial reports, invoices, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Assist senior accountants with month-end closing procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is helpful, but we will teach you the rest.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable internet connection and computer skills.
