Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate daily financial records and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Organize and file physical and digital documents for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable computer access and high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly.
