Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll entries and maintain employee records.
- Organize and maintain financial records and documentation.
- Assist the senior accounting team with tax preparation and audits.
- Perform general clerical duties related to finance as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
