Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements and general ledger entries.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns and financial audits.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports efficiently.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and vendors professionally.
