Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor relationships
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and annual audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with strict confidentiality
- Provide financial insights and support to clients during consultations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Nebraska tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
