Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all bank accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and monthly reports for management review.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely tax preparation and filing.
- Reconcile credit card statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
