Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes with 100% accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and generate financial reports.
- Assist with year-end financial statements and tax preparation support.
- Process payroll and manage employee time tracking systems.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist with the monthly close process and audit preparation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Strong organizational skills and an extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
