We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team in Long Beach, CA. As a key member of our accounting department, you will gain hands-on experience in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting our senior staff. In this role, you will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the integrity of our financial data and contribute to the smooth operation of our business.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the month-end close process and prepare basic financial reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Process payroll entries and assist with employee expense reports.
- Utilize Excel to track budgets and assist in data analysis tasks.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and team members regarding invoices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant internship experience is a plus but not required.
