Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and budget tracking.
- Process and verify payroll information, including tax withholdings and deductions.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documents and invoices.
- Assist in general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
