Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and record invoices, bills, and payments accurately and on time.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, trial balances, and monthly reports.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Update and maintain the general ledger with daily transactions.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) with high precision.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we value potential and attitude over experience.
- Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles; proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Software: Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a huge plus.
