Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accurate data entry and bank reconciliation.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to the general ledger.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation under supervision.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and statements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
