Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial documents and invoices.
- Assist the senior accountant with tax preparation and quarterly audits.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to track expenses and generate budgets.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
