Responsibilities
- Assist with daily data entry: Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review bank statements and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Invoicing and Billing: Process invoices, manage accounts receivable, and send payment reminders to clients.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Expense Management: Categorize and track business expenses and receipts.
- General Office Support: Maintain organized financial records and support the finance department with administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We value a strong desire to learn and a positive attitude.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Must be highly organized with the ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
