Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and quarterly reports.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee timekeeping records.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate with clients regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) highly desirable.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and number crunching.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
