You will work closely with senior accountants to learn the ropes of modern bookkeeping practices, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily financial record-keeping and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to learn new accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) quickly.
