Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers using QuickBooks and Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting
- Support payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (A-Levels or GCSEs in Maths preferred)
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles (training provided)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems
- UK work authorization required
