Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports
- Assist with VAT returns and HMRC compliance
- Support preparation of management accounts and financial statements
- Utilize Xero and Sage software for data entry and analysis
- Perform regular reconciliations and variance reporting
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or 1-2 years bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- QuickBooks or Xero certification preferred
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of UK accounting principles
