Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Assist with payroll processing and VAT returns
- Prepare financial reports for client review
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Basic knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks
- A-levels or equivalent in Maths/Finance preferred
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
