What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and budget summaries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all client accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and basic tax preparation support.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn new software and procedures.
