You will work closely with our senior accountants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Process payroll for clients, ensuring all timesheets and tax forms are accurate.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to manage client accounts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or administrative role is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a significant advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
