Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and VAT submissions
- Support audit preparations and documentation
- Manage expense reports and employee reimbursements
- Communicate with clients regarding financial queries
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or equivalent experience in accounting/bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Basic understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant AAT/Certified Bookkeeper qualification preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems
