Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with NetSuite and QuickBooks Online
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Prepare sales tax filings and manage vendor communications
- Support audits by providing organized financial documentation
- Track and record fixed asset transactions
- Generate custom financial reports for client review
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
- Professional certification (e.g., Bookkeeper Certification) a plus
