Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with tax documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
- Support month-end closing processes and audit preparations
- Communicate financial insights to senior accountants
- Adhere to GAAP standards and company financial policies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or internship experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of California tax regulations
- Relevant certification (e.g., Bookkeeper Certification) preferred
