Responsibilities
- Verify and code invoices for payment according to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly accounts payable reports and maintain organized filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries.
- Assist the accounting department with month-end closing procedures and audits.
- Enter and update financial data into the AP software accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus but not mandatory).
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced office setting.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Reliable internet access and computer equipment.
