Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before posting.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment schedules and outstanding balances.
- Perform accurate data entry into accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
- Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting preparation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the AP team with ad-hoc accounting tasks and special projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not required.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the finance department.
