Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions accurately
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
- Adhere to internal controls and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in cross-departmental financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (students encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn accounting software quickly
- Problem-solving mindset with ethical integrity
- Valid Indiana driver's license (for occasional off-site visits)
