Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare financial statements and balance sheets under supervision
- Process payroll and expense reports accurately
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial records
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent coursework)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (basic functions)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to learn accounting software (QuickBooks training provided)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Willingness to pursue CPA/CMA certification long-term
- Valid US work authorization required
