- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ high-volume client accounts
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparation teams
- Implement and maintain robust accounting controls and compliance measures
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel for financial modeling
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of senior bookkeeping experience
- CPA or advanced certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and financial reporting software
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy verification
- Strong analytical skills for financial trend analysis and forecasting
- Ability to manage confidential client information with discretion
