Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare basic financial statements and expense reports for management review.
- Perform monthly variance analysis and assist in budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) eligibility is a plus but not required.
