Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and variance analysis.
- Perform general clerical accounting functions, including filing and data entry.
- Assist with tax preparation documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing final year).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn new financial software and technologies.
