Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by preparing trial balances and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with tax preparation documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- No prior professional experience required; we value potential and attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
