Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliation of accounts.
- Support the senior accounting team in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure accurate record-keeping in our accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with internal ledgers.
- Prepare basic financial statements and assist with year-end audits.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Basic math skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (vlookup, pivot tables are a bonus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work full-time hours.
