Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry and financial reporting preparation.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial statements and monthly reports.
- Perform routine audits of expense reports and invoices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
