Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain basic financial reports and ledgers.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry and document organization.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for office attendance).
