Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing supporting schedules.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in budget preparation under supervision.
- Perform routine audits of financial data to identify discrepancies.
- Respond to general accounting inquiries from internal teams and external clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new accounting software (QuickBooks training provided).
- Integrity and reliability in handling sensitive financial information.
